Kathy and I (Merle) are new to paintball as of last year. We are the owners of New Mexico School of Diving, which my father started May 1957. Our intrest in paintball began when all the paintballers came to us to fill there HP-air (4500psi). We had a miniature golf coarse out back And we had discused changing it to a paintball field before with our son's. So we decided to remove it, which turned into a very large project. After 3 weeks longer than we thought and 68 (12-yard) loads of concrete and allot of trial and error and buying a paintball business that ran from his trailer. We are into paintball.

Well with help from our son MC (Merle 3rd) which had played paintball and manager of the paintball store and field. And from all the help from Oscer, CJ, Mason, and Dave just a few that supported us the start and help us to put our first 3-man tournament together. Have to say thanks to Preacher for helping on the tournament and for coming up and playing.  The POR BOYZ and HALO for Reffing and All that came to help us to learn and to make our first a very fun day and success. We have had two last year and had alot of fun and everyone in our tournament left with smiles on there face if not along with a prize of some kind. Sense then we have learn alot and have added POR BOYZ to the family. Which practices Sunday here and welcomes anyone who would like to come up and have a practice? POR BOYZ has grown now with Oscer-Captain of the Novice team and MC Captain of the Rookie Team they are 14 strong and getting better all the time. We are glad and lucky to have such a great bunch a men and women that call Hot Shot Paintball Zone there home. Oscer (OC) -Capt., JP, CJ (C-Nasty), Dave, Ben.  MC-Capt., Tammy (LiL-Taz), Shae, Sabrina-(ReD-RuM), JJ, Anton, Matt. We plan to make some of the bigger tournaments this year in hopes to making it to the World Cup and see what it is like to play in the sun of Florida. Kathy and I are blessed with a wonderful family around us and now our added family of the POR BOYZ. 

We held two tournaments last year. Had 3-man for the 1st one and a 5-man open the second one, everyone who did play had a great time. We learned allot and now we are ready for this year and going to make them better and bigger. We do have plans of changing the field to make it larger, it is 135' x 135' now and we plan on going to 160' x 135'. We will be adding and replacing bunkers as we go.

Kathy and I hope we can make it a place for all to enjoy and play some good hard speedball or just come out and play for fun and enjoy the day. I know we are enjoying all our new friends in the world of paintball.
